Election 2016

Senator McCain Just Went Behind Donald Trump’s Back: This Is BAD

Obama has already ruined any ties we may have had with Russia, and now Senator John McCain is getting close to starting a cold war with them. Trump is not going to like this!

According to usanewsflash,

Senator John McCain has scheduled a hearing about security and cyber threats. On this meeting, several high-ranking officials are invited and they will testify and give statements about Russian hacking and involvement in the election.

McCain will be accompanied by the James Clapper, Mike Rogers and Marcel Lettre.

Here are the details:

McCain, who chairs the Senate Armed Services Committee, will be joined by Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, Nation Security Agency and Cyber Command Chief Adm. Mike Rogers, and Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence Marcel Lettre, according to an unnamed source familiar with the committee’s plans.

Donald Trump has previously denied allegations that Russian agents interfered in the election.

From webdaily,

In mid-December, McCain said on CBS’ “Face the Nation” that he wanted Congress to create a select committee to investigate Russia’s involvement in the hacks that occurred during the election, saying, “I would like, in an ideal world, to have a select committee.”

“It’s clear the Russians interfered,” McCain added. “Now, whether they intended to interfere to the degree that they were trying to elect a certain candidate, I think that’s a subject of investigation.”

Although President Barack Obama has announced sanctions on Moscow, McCain and Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., announced that they would seek stronger sanctions against Russia in the upcoming Congress.

How does he know that the Russians have interfered? McCain just wants to keep the ‘old fires’ burning.
I never could stand this pushy guy and always wondered why he still is involved in politics. He ought to be packed into the old mothball box.

McCain is afraid that the files he sealed on missing POW from VietNam will get released. It would reveal him as a collaborator with the enemy and show he is a traitor

breed41, you are right on. He’s well known to us Viet Nam vets as a traitor and should have been made to answer for it a long time ago. He sold his soul to get this buried and I am amazed at the fraud that got him re-elected. I wish Trump’s
    DOJ would investigate this also.

Why can’t we have decent relations with Russia? Some of our elected officials must think Russia is a bunch of assholes. Personally I think Obama is one for trying to make Russia look like hackers. They aren’t against relations with the US! We should embrace the allies we had in WW1 and WW11. Why not?

McCain needs to be ask by his constituants to step down and seek medical help – we do not believe Russia played a part in the election and McCain and other Demorats are pushing us into a war we do not want or need .

This is so funny, the man that oversaw the giving away of weapons and ammunition to both ISIS and Al Qaida, because of his ignorance. Now Senator John McCain has scheduled a hearing about security and cyber threats, he says, but it hears that it is not a committee hearing and will have no power. It’s being done only because he does not like it that the people chose Trump over him.

In the third line it should have said, but it appears that it is not a committee hearing at all.
