California Hate Crimes to Start Including Hard-Left Assaults

on

According to official data by The Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism at California State University, the status of hate crimes last year in the city of Los Angeles hit on overall 15% increase, reaching a 64% surge in violent attacks.

Due to political intolerance at college campuses, far-left extremism is becoming a norm.

Brian Levin, a terrorism expert and professor at Cal State San Bernardino explains,

“Frayed race relations, demographic changes and political divisions along with distrust in institutions and the democratic process all contributed to the rise of hate crimes and extremism.”

“The hard left now poses a distinct threat to the maintenance of free speech on some California campuses, like UC Berkeley, owing to their swarming of campuses featuring bigoted or controversial speakers.”

The fierce election year and counterbalance of political views were both contributing factors to the influx of hate crimes and civil conflicts in the larger cities of California.

The Los Angeles Daily News reported that Levin is worried that far-left groups are targeting police, journalists, campus venues, and Trump supporters. Regarding the far left’s motivations in the last year, he said, “They increasingly saw demonstrations less as an opportunity for expression, and more as the culmination of a pre-choreographed violent street or campus battle, that began as vitriolic disputes on social media.”

California Penal Code 422.6 PC makes it a misdemeanor, subject to up to a year in jail, to “willfully injure, intimidate, interfere with, or threaten someone in a protected class.” The definition of “protected classes” had been anyone that is not white, not male, not straight and not Christian. But Black Bloc and Antifa has specifically targeted conservatives at Berkeley and other University of California campuses.

Levin documented that in Los Angeles, the highest level of hate crime reports has been against blacks, followed by Jews, homosexual men, and then Hispanics. But the fastest growing targets are hate crime is now whites, which almost doubled from 7 to 12.

The CSUSB report comes just hours after 4chan crowd analysis identified former Diablo Valley College Philosophy Professor Eric Clanton as a masked Black Bloc activist who beat pro-Trump attendees with a U-shaped bike lock at the April 15 UC Berkeley riots.

Police arrested Clanton and he has been charged with four counts of felony assault with enhancements that allegedly caused great bodily injury, plus a misdemeanor for wearing a mask during commission of a crime. He pled not guilty and bail was set at $200,000.

A video of one of Clanton’s college lectures posted to You Tube features him with a Vladimir Leninist goatee giving a Marxist rant that property laws and policing only exists only for the benefit of the capitalist class to subjugate the public.

    Why is this piece of human excrement allowed to wast the time of students who are paying an institution to learn? Better yet why was he not prosecuted for terrorist actions? the legal definition of terrorist act A person engages in domestic terrorism if they do an act “”dangerous to human life”” that is a violation of the criminal laws of a state or the United States, if the act appears to be intended to: (i) intimidate or coerce a civilian population; (ii) influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion;

    Section 802 of the USA PATRIOT Act (Pub. L. No. 107-52) expanded the definition of terrorism to cover “”domestic,”” as opposed to international, terrorism.
