Vegas Sheriff: Cybertruck Bomber Died by Self-Inflicted Gunshot

Matthew Livelsberger, the man responsible for the explosion outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound moments before the blast, authorities confirmed Thursday. The 37-year-old suspect, discovered inside the Tesla Cybertruck he had driven to the scene, left behind a trail of destruction and questions.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Sheriff Kevin McMahill revealed during a press briefing that Livelsberger’s body was found with a gunshot wound to the head. A Desert Eagle .50 caliber semi-automatic handgun was discovered at his feet, along with other semi-automatic weapons charred by the fiery explosion.

Despite the extensive damage, authorities were able to identify Livelsberger through several personal items recovered from the vehicle, including his military ID, passport, phone, and smartwatch. Additionally, two tattoos on his remains matched known tattoos of the suspect.
