President Donald Trump is set to take significant steps on Monday regarding military policies, focusing on enhancing the effectiveness and readiness of the U.S. Armed Forces. He plans to sign a series of executive orders, including one that instructs Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to revise the standards related to trans-identifying individuals in the military.
This move aims to ensure that military readiness remains uncompromised and that all service members are held to the same standards of preparedness and capability.
A report by the New York Post highlighted these upcoming executive orders, emphasizing the goal of fostering a culture where lethality and readiness are prioritized above all else.
A White House document reviewed by Breitbart News states that the order will require the Department of Defense (DOD) to update its guidance on trans-identifying medical standards. The objective is to eliminate any existing guidance that may conflict with the military’s readiness goals.
Secretary Hegseth will be tasked with updating these medical standards to ensure that they focus on readiness and lethality. Part of this update involves prohibiting the use of “invented and identification-based pronouns” within the Department of Defense. This decision is rooted in the belief that maintaining integrity and stability among service members is crucial for unit cohesion and overall military effectiveness.
The document further explains that the recovery process following transition surgery can take at least 12 months, often involving the use of heavy narcotics. During this period, individuals may not meet the physical requirements necessary for military readiness and may continue to need ongoing medical care. Such circumstances are seen as hindrances to deployment and other readiness requirements.
In addition, the anticipated action will overturn an executive order from former President Joe Biden that allowed accommodations for gender identity within the military. The White House document argues that Biden’s order negatively impacted military readiness and unit cohesion. The new order is also designed to protect female service members by ensuring that males are not permitted to use facilities designated for females, including sleeping quarters, changing rooms, and bathing areas.
Furthermore, President Trump is expected to sign an order titled “to restore Merit and Lethality to America’s Armed Forces.” This order will outlaw discriminatory practices based on race or sex within any branch of the Armed Forces, the Department of Defense, or the Department of Homeland Security. The White House document on this directive indicates that it will eliminate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives within these departments.
Secretary Hegseth has been directed to conduct a review within the DOD to identify instances where DEI initiatives may have resulted in racial or sex-based discrimination. This review aims to ensure that the military’s focus remains on merit and capability, free from the influence of these now-defunct initiatives.
Additionally, the order requires Hegseth and DHS Secretary Kristi Noem to examine the curriculums of the United States Service Academies and other academic institutions. The goal is to ensure that these curriculums no longer promote gender and DEI ideologies, aligning educational standards with the military’s emphasis on merit and readiness.
These executive orders reflect a broader vision of reinforcing traditional values within the military and ensuring that every policy supports the primary objectives of readiness and effectiveness. By eliminating policies perceived as distractions, the administration aims to create a more unified and capable military force.
The anticipated changes have sparked discussions across various circles, with supporters arguing that these steps are necessary for maintaining a strong and focused military. Critics, however, may view these measures as a rollback of progressive policies that aimed to create a more inclusive environment. Despite differing opinions, the administration’s commitment to these changes underscores its belief in a military free from what it sees as unnecessary social engineering.
As these executive orders are signed and implemented, they will likely shape the discourse on military policies and readiness for years to come. The focus on merit and capability, as outlined in the orders, seeks to ensure that America’s Armed Forces remain a leading force on the global stage.
In the coming days, the impact of these changes will become more apparent, both within the military and in the broader public discourse. The administration’s emphasis on preparedness and effectiveness highlights its dedication to maintaining a strong national defense, unencumbered by policies it views as counterproductive.
By prioritizing these values, the executive orders aim to reinforce the military’s core mission: to defend the nation with strength and precision. The administration’s actions reflect a firm belief in the importance of a robust and cohesive fighting force, prepared to meet the challenges of the modern world.

Kick the freaks and head trips out on their sorry asses! Don’t need any such twisted, sicko, lame, Godless fools defending America’s Citizens!
hi I agree with Lawrenece M.
Hi jeanette, thanks for the vote of confidence and yes they do much more harm than any good; so how can a military be standing battle ready at all times with baggage like this to carry around and potentially bring on some form of compromise with enemies!
God bless you and yours!
The problem with Executive orders they set a precedence if you make something legal today you can not punish someone tomorrow if you decide to change the law. That is Expost Facto Laws which are illegal. The trouble with most people is they dislike something they say get rid of it without thinking of how laws work. Remember when Gays stayed in the closet, People hated them but not knowing who was gay they worked around them and probably had gay friends they didn’t know about and had no problem which means the real problem was the person who hated gays because they were accepted with no problem unless they were outed. I see the problem as two different types of Transgennders one that dresses and identifies as a female called a ladyboy and the other that has the operation removing their penis. The ones that had the operation are still a male but as close to being a female as you can get and still have the strength of a male if they had to keep the same standard as a female they wouldn’t have any problem. As far as the medical procedures mentioned I would say the military could allow them to remain but will not cover that type of medical expense. As far as Ladyboys go they couldn’t be blackmailed because the military would already know what they are. A male wearing a dress I guess could be considered not good order of the military but what if they didn’t wear womens cloths? But the big problem I see and have mentioned many times and see no one addressing it is with the Executive orders it is possible for transgenders to one enlistment in the military and one enlistment out of the military and one enlistment back in with a new Executive order every four years. Which would mean while everyone else puts their life on the line for 20 years before retiring Transgenders would only do that have the time. Remember how Trump just brought back some military members that were discharged with full back pay. Same thing could happen with Transgenders. I am the only one that has mentioned that.
