Popular podcaster Joe Rogan recently revealed that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed interest in appearing on his show, but Rogan turned down the request. The admission came during a lively episode of The Joe Rogan Experience on Spotify, where Rogan discussed the matter with comedians Shane Gillis, Mark Normand, and Ari Shaffir.
“They tried to get Zelensky on. I was like, what are you talking about?” Rogan told his guests, expressing disbelief at the suggestion. He provided no further details on the invitation but implied that his decision was rooted in a desire to remain neutral in political controversies, particularly amid heightened global tensions.

This revelation follows recent episodes where Rogan has voiced strong concerns about the Biden administration’s handling of the Ukraine-Russia war. Speaking with music producer Scott Storch last week, Rogan criticized outgoing administrations for making significant foreign policy moves during their final months, calling such actions reckless.
“How are you allowed to do that when you’re on your way out?” Rogan questioned. “There should be some sort of pause for significant actions that could potentially start World War III. Maybe that would be a good thing to avoid from a dying former president. The whole thing is nuts.”
Rogan also directed harsh words at Zelensky, accusing the Ukrainian leader of underestimating the risks of escalating the conflict. “Zelensky says Putin is terrified. F-ck you, man. F-ck you people. You people are about to start World War III,” Rogan exclaimed.
Rogan’s comments reflect a growing sentiment among critics of the Biden administration’s foreign policy. The recent U.S.-endorsed Ukrainian strike into Russia has sparked debate, with some arguing that such actions risk provoking a broader conflict. Rogan argued that the American public, insulated from the immediate effects of the war, is unknowingly supporting policies that could lead to catastrophic consequences.
“The world has been at peace before, and then all of a sudden, chaos,” Rogan said. “And to think that can never happen again, you’re wrong. It’s happening right now; it’s just not happening here. We don’t feel it here, so it doesn’t affect our thinking process, and we support things that could lead to it happening here.”
Rogan’s critique of Zelensky and Biden aligns with a broader conservative narrative calling for a reassessment of U.S. involvement in the Ukraine-Russia war. Former President Donald Trump has repeatedly promised to reduce American support for Ukraine, framing the move as a step toward ending the conflict. Trump’s stance has resonated with a segment of the U.S. population fatigued by prolonged foreign engagements and wary of escalating tensions with nuclear powers like Russia.
Rogan, who has gained a reputation for his unfiltered takes on political and social issues, appears to share this skepticism. His blunt language underscores a frustration with what he perceives as unnecessary risks taken by leaders who may not face the direct consequences of their actions.
Zelensky’s attempt to appear on Rogan’s podcast is part of his broader strategy to garner support from Western audiences. Since the onset of the war, Zelensky has leveraged his charisma and communication skills to secure aid and maintain public sympathy for Ukraine’s cause.
However, the move to court Rogan—a figure known for his unpredictable and often contrarian views—was met with a firm rejection. For Zelensky, whose leadership has been praised and criticized in equal measure, Rogan’s dismissal adds to the challenges of maintaining unified international support as the conflict drags on.
Rogan’s comments have sparked a heated debate online. Supporters commend his willingness to challenge powerful figures like Zelensky and Biden, while critics accuse him of oversimplifying complex geopolitical issues. The divide reflects a broader tension within the U.S. over how to navigate the Ukraine-Russia conflict, with opinions ranging from full-throated support for Ukraine to calls for immediate disengagement.
As one of the most influential voices in media, Rogan’s opinions carry weight with his vast audience, many of whom view him as a counterpoint to mainstream narratives. His rejection of Zelensky’s request is likely to fuel further discussion about the role of media personalities in shaping public opinion on international affairs.
With the war in Ukraine showing no signs of resolution, the debate over U.S. involvement will remain a central issue. Rogan’s sharp critique of both Biden and Zelensky highlights the complexities of balancing support for Ukraine with concerns about escalating tensions with Russia.
As the Biden administration continues to navigate its final months, the actions it takes—or refrains from taking—will have lasting implications. For Rogan, his podcast remains a platform for candid discussions about these pressing issues, even if it means turning down high-profile guests like Zelensky.
Whether his stance will influence broader public opinion or policy decisions remains to be seen, but one thing is clear: the conversation about U.S. foreign policy, media responsibility, and the risks of global conflict is far from over.

“A music video features Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dancing in high heels, a cropped top, and skin-tight pants with three other men.”
“Volodymyr Zelensky has recently said, “I believe that now is not the right time for elections.”
The US did NOT endorse any strike at all. The US provided specific missiles with offense capability to Ukraine. The US PROVIDED THEM WITH THE EXCLUSION OF USE AT ALL until the US gave a release to use them. The release was DEPENDENT upon Russia knowing of their existence and taking certain actions that are in violation of international law.
Once Russia attacked NON-MILITARY and NON-INFRASTRUCTURE targets the USA RELEASED the hold on use.
Putin has declared himself a Constitutional Dictator, he has forced Russia into an expansionist mode. When the DEMOCRATS let him take Crimea they signaled to Putin that he could take everything he wants and no one will stop him. Today Russia is being run by n indicted war criminal who faces the death penalty in The Hague. The SAD PART being that the entirety of leadership and power in Russia is so thoroughly corrupt that the entire world is afraid of what might happen next if Putin is taken down!
Even China should be quaking in its boots over PUTIN.
Quite True!
When invaded, ‘Self Defense’ is not escalation.
Treasonous scum. Putin boot lickers. Fuck Joe Rogan and all the MAGATs. FA&FO. Morons!
