Biden Administration Covered Up ‘Hundreds’ of Suspicious ActBlue Fundraising Reports

The Biden administration concealed hundreds of suspicious activity reports (SARs) linked to the Democrat Party’s fundraising powerhouse, ActBlue, according to House Oversight Chair Rep. James Comer (R-KY). Comer’s explosive revelation comes as the Oversight Committee intensifies its investigation into potential fraud and illegal financial activity within ActBlue.

Speaking with OANN’s Andrew Giuliani on Wednesday, Comer detailed how his committee made repeated requests to the U.S. Treasury Department under Biden, seeking to uncover whether ActBlue’s online donation system had triggered SARs.

However, Biden’s Treasury stonewalled those requests, refusing to release the information. Only after President Donald Trump’s decisive victory over Kamala Harris in November did Treasury officials finally acknowledge the existence of the reports.

“They allowed my staff to go in and view like 10 or 12. They were really bad,” Comer disclosed. “But I can say with confidence, there are hundreds more.”

This revelation comes as the Oversight Committee, alongside House Administration Chairman Bryan Steil (R-WI) and Rep. Nick Langworthy (R-NY), formally demanded Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent turn over all documents previously suppressed by the Biden administration. Their letter expressed deep concerns over mounting reports of fraud and illegal campaign finance practices linked to ActBlue:

“The Committees remain concerned with recent reports suggesting fraud and evasion of campaign finance law by individuals exploiting online contribution platforms, especially ActBlue. Until recently, ActBlue had not implemented standard procedures to guard against identity theft and fraud, such as by requiring a Card Verification Value (CVV) to process online transactions.”

ActBlue has come under growing scrutiny as state-level investigations pile up over allegations that fraudulent donations were funneled through the platform without the knowledge of supposed contributors. If these allegations prove true, they would constitute serious violations of federal election law—potentially exposing a massive dark-money scheme benefiting Democrat candidates nationwide.

Unlike the Biden administration, Comer noted, the Trump administration has been cooperative in providing critical oversight. He emphasized that banks had flagged a substantial volume of suspicious transactions tied to ActBlue’s accounts, raising serious questions about the source of the funds flowing into Democrat campaigns.

“We always suspected that there was an influx of cash coming in from other ways,” Comer explained. “The way ActBlue set up their account, it would be very easy to launder money into there through fake credit card accounts and fake names and things like that.”

The mounting concerns over ActBlue’s financial practices coincide with an exodus of senior officials from the Massachusetts-based fundraising giant. According to the New York Times, at least seven high-level executives abruptly resigned last month without explanation. Internal discord appears to be growing, with one remaining ActBlue lawyer hinting at internal retaliation, writing in a work Slack thread: “We have Anti-Retaliation and Whistleblower Policies for a reason.”

This mass departure has sent shockwaves through Democrat fundraising circles, prompting unions representing ActBlue staff to issue a dire warning about the organization’s future. In a letter obtained by The Times, the unions described an “alarming pattern” of resignations that has “eroded our confidence in the stability of the organization.”

With Comer and House Republicans ramping up their probe into ActBlue’s financial dealings, pressure is mounting for full transparency. If evidence of large-scale money laundering and campaign finance fraud emerges, it could be one of the biggest political finance scandals in modern history—one that could shake the very foundation of Democrat fundraising operations heading into the 2026 midterms.
