Futurama’s 14th season has concluded, with the finale episode, “Final Ending: The Last Conclusion,” becoming available to stream on Hulu this morning.
The season premiered in early August and ran for 10 episodes before wrapping up on Sept. 28. Viewers can now watch the entire season, along with every prior season of the show, through a Hulu subscription.
The animated sci-fi sitcom has had a winding path to this point. After being cancelled a second time in 2013, Futurama found a new home on Hulu starting with its 11th season in 2023, where it has aired ever since.
Season 14 promised what the show’s own description called “a non-stop onslaught of swaggering space pirates, lab-grown meats, sexy scams” along with the return of a long-lost love interest for the character Dr. Zoidberg.
Hulu offers two subscription tiers for those wanting to catch up: a basic plan with ads for $11.99 a month, or an ad-free plan for $18.99 a month.
Is Futurama Cancelled Again?
Despite the finale’s title, Futurama has not been cancelled. Rather than producing a traditional 15th season, the show’s creators plan to release three extended “XXXL-sized” specials on Hulu. The first, a Christmas-themed special, is scheduled to debut in 2027.
