Hard Rock Bet is running a September 2026 promotion that gives new customers $100 in bonus bets for placing a single $5 wager, no promo code required.
The offer is open to bettors who are 21 or older and physically located in one of Hard Rock Bet’s ten legal states: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee and Virginia.
Under the terms of the deal, a new user who places a $5 bet receives the bonus regardless of whether that first wager wins or loses. The $100 is not paid out all at once. Instead, it arrives in five separate $20 bonus bet installments, issued once a week over five weeks.
How the bonus bets work
Bonus bets function differently from cash wagers. If a bettor stakes $20 in real money on a bet with +100 odds and wins, they collect $40 — their original $20 stake plus $20 in profit. With a $20 bonus bet on the same odds, a winning bettor collects only the $20 in profit, not the original stake, and may face playthrough requirements before withdrawing. If the bonus bet loses, the bettor loses nothing, since no real money was at risk.
Each bonus bet expires seven days after it is issued, meaning users need to use them relatively quickly once they land in the account.
Ongoing promotions
Beyond the one-time welcome offer, Hard Rock Bet runs a loyalty program called Hard Rock Unity, which lets users earn points redeemable for bonus bets, travel perks and other rewards. The sportsbook also offers recurring profit boosts and odds boosts to existing customers.
Hard Rock Bet operates in fewer states than some larger competitors, and its welcome offer is smaller than some rivals’ promotions. The company has also been reported to limit accounts that win consistently relatively quickly.
No promo code is needed to claim the $5-for-$100 offer, and existing customers who don’t qualify for the welcome bonus can still access other boosts and promotions through the app.
