Just before President Joe Biden was scheduled to address the conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, UnidosUS President and CEO Janet Murguía revealed that he had tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday.
“I was just on the phone with President Biden. And he shared his deep disappointment at not being able to join us this afternoon. The president has been at many events as we all know and he just tested positive for Covid,” Murguía told attendees.

Here we go again…

Following earlier reports that Biden failed to instill confidence in more moderate members of his party, concerns arose as he struggled through a Zoom call just an hour before former President Donald Trump narrowly avoided an assassination attempt at a Pennsylvania rally.
During the call, Biden’s “rambling” included instances where he lost track of his thoughts and provided perplexing, disjointed answers to questions.
Some participants even went as far as describing the call as “worse than the debate” with Trump last month.
Sources speaking to media outlet Puck revealed that around “50 people on that Zoom were prepared to publicly criticize him,” had it not been for the attack against Trump.
“The call was even worse than the debate. He was rambling; he’d start an answer then lose his train of thought, then would just say ‘whatever.’ I lost a ton of respect for him,” said one call participant, with another person confirming those details.
“The president was rambling, dismissive of concerns, unable or unprepared to present a campaign strategy, and had a particularly troubling exchange with Jason Crow, saying to him, ‘Tell me something you’ve never done with your Bronze Star like my son,’” said another.
“Had the assassination attempt not occurred an hour later, I imagine 50 people on that Zoom were ready to come out publicly against him,” said another, according to Puck.
Mediaite added:
The call took place at the end of a week that saw mounting pressure on the president from elected Democrats and the media to step down from the race over concerns about his mental fitness and age. The assassination attempt on GOP rival Trump and the Republican National Convention, which started Monday, has since thrown Biden out of the spotlight.
If the call is anything to go by, however, Democrat concerns are not going away.
The White House physician of former President Trump has given a significant update following the recent assassination attempt during a rally in Butler, Pa. Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas) stated on Monday that Trump had not suffered any concussion from the bullet that grazed his ear.
Trump was officially nominated as the 2024 Republican presidential candidate.
The attacker, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, used a .22 caliber AR-15-style rifle to shoot at Trump and managed to graze his ear before being swiftly neutralized by Secret Service counter-snipers.
One rally attendee was killed and two others were injured in the incident.
Despite wearing a bandage over his right ear, Trump appeared at the convention in good health, with Jackson confirming that the bullet had only grazed his ear without causing serious harm.
“He was lucky,” Jackson said on “The Benny Show.” “I mean, it was far enough away from his head that there was no concussive effect from the bullet, and it just took the top of his ear off.”
The former White House physician, who also served in that role under President Barack Obama, told the host that the wound was still “bleeding like crazy” when he examined Trump on Monday morning. But he said Trump “will be OK” and that the injury should “granulate” and “heal in,” a reference to the process whereby new connective tissue forming on the wound’s surface will take place while it heals.
Johnson inquired of Jackson whether Trump would be left with a permanent mark on his ear, but the doctor reassured that the wound would not be very conspicuous in the long run.
During their discussion, Jackson hinted to Johnson that “divine intervention” might have helped in preventing a more serious injury to Trump during the assassination attempt.

Biden doesn’t have Covid, that’s just his excuse to get out of making a speech. He knows he’ll screw it up. Biden is totally gone, and his handlers are panicking…
AGREED
The Bible in Psalms 105:15) Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm. Biden has been digging his own grave with his tongue, because of what he is saying and calling President Trump.
Biden has Covet I wonder what sickness Harris is going to get.
Well, at least there is a devious transparency to Democrat machinations. Democrats: the party of transparency. Remember the song, “Look…look…my heart is an open book”. Haha, the heart of scoundrels. I’m not a Republican, and certainly not Christian just FYI. So my comment doesn’t come from a bootlicker for the other subset of scoundrels: Republican RINOs.
They have known that Biden has not been fit for office since 2020. They were OK with it because of being power hungry, greedy and unconcerned with our country’s safety. Now that he is losing in the polls, all of a sudden they “notice” that he is unfit? Talk about destroying Democracy? This clown holds all of the delegates for the Democratic nomination and they are forcing out the people’s choice, not because he a dipshit, but because they know they are going to lose. What a stand up Party.
