Saturday Night Live returns for its 52nd season tonight, September 26, airing at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC and streaming on Peacock. New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson hosts the season premiere, with musical guest Katseye.
Viewers with a cable subscription can watch live on NBC or through the NBC website and app. Those without cable have several options for streaming the broadcast live, including DIRECTV, which offers a five-day free trial before billing begins and flexible Genre Pack subscriptions starting at $19.99 a month. NBC is also available live through fuboTV, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, and Sling TV, with fuboTV, Hulu + Live TV, and YouTube TV offering free trials for new subscribers.
For those who prefer to watch on their own schedule, SNL streams live and on demand through Peacock. The Jalen Brunson-hosted premiere will be available to stream on demand starting Sunday, September 27.
Ahead of the season launch, several SNL-adjacent projects are also arriving on streaming platforms. Netflix has added all six seasons of the Canadian sketch series SCTV, along with a companion documentary, SCTV: The Greatest Show You’ve Never Heard Of, premiering October 30. Netflix is also releasing Judd Apatow’s documentary on the late comedian, Norm: The Tale of Norm Macdonald, on October 16. Separately, HBO airs a short documentary on Dennis Miller’s stint on Monday Night Football, titled Miller Night Football, on Tuesday, September 29 at 9:00 p.m. ET.
