Freshly revealed text messages have provided a fresh perspective on the sequence of events leading up to the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania.
The New York Times obtained these messages, which indicate that the would-be assassin, Thomas Matthew Crooks, had been on the radar of authorities over 90 minutes before the shooting occurred, contradicting earlier statements made by officials.
A counter-sniper sent a message to a coworker, alerting them that someone had followed their example and had managed to sneak in and park by their cars.
“Someone followed our lead and snuck in and parked by our cars just so you know.”
BREAKING: Leaked messages between countersn*pers reveal they were aware of Thomas Crooks about 90 minutes before Trump was nearly assas*inated.
One of the countersn*pers was reportedly leaving at the end of his shift when he noticed Crooks.

The individual turned out to be Crooks, who was spotted with a range finder and observed gazing towards the stage. Crooks scaled the AGR International building warehouse and opened fire from his AR-15 while perched on the roof.
A counter-sniper managed to capture photos of him, which were then shared in a group chat. Following this, an officer recommended informing the Secret Service about the suspicious individual, and the images were eventually relayed to the command center.
Text messages have revealed that authorities had been aware of the suspicious person nearly 100 minutes before the shooting occurred, contradicting earlier claims made during a congressional hearing that mentioned a 60-minute notification window.
This discrepancy has prompted complaints from members of Trump’s Secret Service detail, who allege they were not informed about local police monitoring the individual.
The shooting incident resulted in Trump sustaining a grazing bullet wound to his ear and three rally attendees being shot, one of whom tragically lost his life while protecting his family. Crooks was only then taken down by a Secret Service sniper.
Federal authorities have stated that Crooks had premeditated the shooting, but his exact motive remains unclear.
In the aftermath of the incident, the Secret Service has come under scrutiny, with lawmakers questioning how Crooks was able to pose a threat despite their presence. This led to Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle stepping down last week amidst public outcry.

It wasn’t malfeasance, it was a planned govt assassination of Donald Trump, plain and simple.
Way to many coincidences for this to be incompetence. This was a planned assignation that went wrong!
1. No briefing by Secret Service to supporting state units
2. No common communications frequency.
3. No command posts co-located to facilitate communication. See #2 above.
4. Perp identified over an hour before shooting.
5. No reaction to warnings by spectators! Guy with a rifle on roof!!!!
6. Apparently most personnel were not from escort service. Rather were office workers sent to do escort duties!

Like the 2 previous commenters I believe this was essentially an “inside job”!!!!! I believe the devildemocommiecrats wanted President Trump to be assassinated because nothing they are doing has had any negative on the likelihood he will be re-elected!!!!! I don’t fault the ground team assigned to President Trump, this comes from upon high!!!!! I believe the refusal by the bureaucrats to reinforce Trump’s team after several requests was part of a plan to leave him vulnerable!!!!!!!!!!
President Trump must hire his own body guards if he wants to live. Joe is not going to do anything to protect him.
Agree with all of the above comments 100%…
Trumps only move is to demand the government pay for his private security, the alphabet soup deep state government agencies cannot be trusted to do their jobs! “Good enough for government work” isn’t cutting it!
