Liv Morgan is once again WWE’s Women’s World Champion, capturing the title for the fourth time after a chaotic triple-threat match at Money in the Bank that saw reigning champion Stephanie Vaquer and challenger Becky Lynch batter each other until Morgan slipped in to steal the pin.
Triple-threat matches rarely allow for alliances, and this one was no exception. Vaquer and Lynch made no effort to team up against Morgan, instead trading blows throughout the bout. The two couldn’t even agree on where to set up a table in an attempt to put Morgan away for good.
Vaquer controlled much of the match with her ring skill, hitting both opponents with meteoras into the steel steps and later landing a corkscrew moonsault on Morgan that appeared to seal the win. Lynch broke up the cover by pulling the referee out of the ring before the count of three could be completed.
The action escalated from there. Vaquer kicked Lynch off the ring apron, and though Lynch fell backward without going through the table, the legs of the table snapped on impact. With Vaquer’s attention fixed on Lynch, Morgan appeared seemingly out of nowhere and hit her finishing move, Oblivion, to pin Vaquer for the title.
Vaquer was visibly emotional watching Morgan celebrate, while Lynch remained outside the ring recovering from the table spot.
Morgan has called herself the greatest women’s champion of all time, and her resume is building a case. She has now won the Women’s World Championship twice in this calendar year alone, pinning Vaquer both times for the title in 2026, and this marks her fourth reign overall. She picked up the win without any help from her Judgment Day stablemates, a faction that has otherwise struggled of late.
