NBC has released the cast list for its new fall drama “Line of Fire,” a series centered on a family of federal law enforcement agents who find themselves entangled in a deadly conspiracy. The show comes from creator and writer Joshua Safran, known for “Gossip Girl,” “Quantico” and “Smash.”
According to NBC’s official synopsis, the series follows “a family of law enforcement agents” who “bridge personal differences and cross professional boundaries as they tackle cases for the FBI, US Marshals, Secret Service and Department of Justice.” A case that initially looks routine turns into a conspiracy, forcing the family to rely on their combined experience protecting civilians and politicians to protect one another and catch the killer — even if it means breaking the rules they’ve sworn to uphold.
Jenna Bush Hager, whose background as a former first daughter reportedly informed parts of the show, serves as an executive producer.
