Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-Ga.) has appeared at multiple campaign events over the past three years alongside former Stockbridge Mayor Jayden Williams, who was impeached and removed from office by the Stockbridge City Council amid allegations of misspending city funds and exchanging sexually suggestive messages with an 18-year-old high school student.
Williams was removed on findings of malfeasance, misfeasance and violation of his oath of office, according to Fox 5 Atlanta. The impeachment followed a Stockbridge police report filed March 17 that detailed an investigation into communications between Williams and the teen, who told investigators he had been enrolled in the city’s youth mentorship program.
According to Atlanta News First, a search of the student’s phone turned up ongoing messages on Instagram and Snapchat beginning Dec. 1, 2025, that investigators said escalated into sexually suggestive exchanges.
A pattern of joint appearances

Ossoff has often pointed to his background as an investigative journalist who covered human trafficking, and has made rooting out corruption a theme of his political career.
Race tightens ahead of November
The disclosures come as Ossoff’s Senate contest against Republican Rep. Mike Collins appears to be narrowing. A recent Quantus Insights poll found Ossoff leading Collins by just four points, 48 percent to 44 percent.
