Music executive Scooter Braun publicly celebrated girlfriend Sydney Sweeney’s 29th birthday over the weekend, posting a video tribute that detailed what he called a “true partnership” between the two.
Braun, 45, shared footage Saturday of the couple dancing and kissing in front of an illuminated castle, set to Mitski’s “My Love Mine All Mine.”
“Happy birthday to the woman who is the exception to every rule,” Braun wrote in the caption, adding that Sweeney had “surprised” him and shown him “how life with true partnership can be lived.”
He continued with an extended message praising her impact on his daily life.
“You make me smile harder, laugh louder, adventure more, and dream bigger. You’ve made the ordinary feel exciting and the future feel like something I can’t wait to get to.”
Braun added that “a giggle can change an entire day” and said he loved how “corny” the two could be together, closing the post with, “Happy birthday Syd. Many more celebrations ahead. I love you.”
Timeline of the relationship
Sweeney and Braun first met at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding in Venice, Italy, in June 2025. A source told Page Six that Braun was “obsessed” with Sweeney and began “pursuing” her soon after they met.
By late September 2025, Braun had already met Sweeney’s parents during a double date at Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood.
The couple made their relationship public on social media in April, after attending the Stagecoach Music Festival in Indio, California, sharing photos with their arms around each other, including shots from a photo booth.
Earlier this month, the relationship reached a new stage when Sweeney spent time with Braun’s three children — Jagger Joseph, 11, Levi Magnus, 9, and Hart Violet, 7 — during a smoothie outing in Los Angeles.
The pair then traveled back to Venice, where their relationship began, with Sweeney serving as an ambassador for Armani Beauty, the official beauty sponsor of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.
Sweeney was previously engaged to businessman Jonathan Davino, ending that nearly seven-year relationship in March 2025. Braun was previously married to Yael Cohen, 39, from 2014 to 2021, with their divorce finalized in 2022.
