Robert F. Kennedy Jr. delivered a stirring endorsement of Donald Trump for President in a moving speech on Friday afternoon, and later appeared alongside Trump at his rally in Glendale, receiving an enthusiastic reception.
Conservatives celebrated RFK Jr.’s courageous support and Trump’s effective negotiations.
Even CNN acknowledged the potential significance of this alliance in thwarting a potential communist regime led by Kamala Harris and saving America.
Unsurprisingly, there was a strong reaction from liberals nationwide, who may have felt that the possibility of Trump returning to the White House had increased.
One group of leftists in particular was outraged: Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s own siblings.
Immediately after RFK Jr. endorsed Trump, his siblings released a scathing statement, accusing him of betraying the values that their father cherished.
The statement, signed by Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, Courtney Kennedy, Rory Kennedy, Chris Kennedy, and Kerry Kennedy, expressed their dismay as follows:
“We want an America filled with hope and bound together by a shared vision of a brighter future, a future defined by individual freedom, economic promise and national pride. We believe in Harris and Walz. Our brother Bobby’s decision to endorse Trump today is a betrayal of the values that our father and our family hold most dear. It is a sad ending to a sad story.”
Social media users were incensed by the betrayal by RFK Jr.’s own family and unleashed a series of stinging responses:
