Taylor Swift was back in her Arrowhead Stadium suite Sunday, cheering as her husband Travis Kelce scored a touchdown that helped the Kansas City Chiefs pull away from the New York Jets.
The score came early in the third quarter with the Chiefs leading 14-12. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes directed a 10-play, 60-yard drive capped by a flip pass to Kelce for a 1-yard touchdown. Officials needed a moment to confirm Kelce had reached the end zone before the score was upheld, extending Kansas City’s lead to 21-12.
Cameras quickly turned to Swift’s suite, where she was seen celebrating and hugging those around her, including her mother, Andrea. Swift was also joined at the Week 9 game by her father, Scott, and by Karlie Kloss. She wore a striped red shirt and a necklace bearing an “87” charm, a nod to Kelce’s jersey number.
Swift and Kelce married on July 3 at Madison Square Garden. Sunday’s appearance kept alive Swift’s streak of attending every Chiefs home game this season, though she had missed the team’s past two road games — a 28-24 loss to the Denver Broncos and a 20-3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Oct. 25.
The Chiefs extended their lead further on the following drive with a touchdown from Kenneth Walker III, putting Kansas City ahead 28-12 heading into the fourth quarter. A win would move the Chiefs to 4-0 at home this season, marking a bounce-back after consecutive losses.
Swift has drawn attention throughout the season for the guests who have joined her in the Arrowhead suite, including actor Tom Cruise and Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark.
