A social media account tied to Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign, “Kamala HQ,” has come under fire for posting misleading video clips of former President Donald Trump.
Reports from CNN and other outlets reveal that the account, active on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram, has shared “deceptively edited” videos to portray Trump in a negative light.
With over 1.3 million followers on X, @KamalaHQ is Harris’s rapid-response page aimed at highlighting controversial comments made by Trump and his team.
CNN fact-checkers identified at least eight examples since mid-August where the account posted misleading clips, including videos misrepresenting Trump’s speeches.
BREAKING: CNN is now TURNING on KAMALA HARRIS
“The @KamalaHQ account, which has more than 1.3 million followers on the X social media platform.. has made a habit of misleadingly clipping and inaccurately captioning video clips to attack former President Donald Trump” – CNN pic.twitter.com/WpeAUmHmYh

In one example from August 17, a clip showed Trump seemingly confused about his location at a rally in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, implying he mistook it for North Carolina.
However, full footage revealed Trump was addressing a group of supporters from North Carolina, known as the “Front Row Joes,” who had attended his rallies.

Trump’s team responded, clarifying the context and calling the post misleading.
Wrong again, moron. President Trump was obviously referring to the Front Row Joes from North Carolina in the audience, whom he recognized earlier in his speech. https://t.co/O2sdgH9fhl pic.twitter.com/Oqg1JpMQjW

Another post on September 12 showed Trump speaking at a rally in Tucson, Arizona, referencing Pennsylvania.
The Harris campaign suggested Trump forgot where he was, but a review showed Trump was discussing increased Haitian migration in a Pennsylvania town.

The edit had stripped away critical context.
KamalaHQ also shared a misleading clip of Trump’s running mate, J.D. Vance, suggesting he admitted Republicans are anti-union.
Vance: Democrats want to attack Republicans as being anti-union and sometimes the shoe fits pic.twitter.com/8VIM8PVASd

In reality, Vance’s full statement clarified that neither he nor Trump held that view.
Despite the Harris campaign’s defense, critics argue the posts aim to paint Trump and his allies as confused and out of touch.
An opposing account, @KamalaHQLies, has since emerged to counter the misleading content from Harris’s campaign.
As the 2024 election heats up, scrutiny over the accuracy of social media posts from both sides continues to grow.

democrats figure they can say anything and get away with it. But, statistics from doj and would you believe it, cnn has proven kneepad harris to be a habitual liar. And lets not forget abc.
The debate was rigged in her favor. Fact checking by the very liars that reported it in the first place.
So they just woke up? Didn’t know this before? Or is this in effort to jump the sinking ship?
