Actor Josh Brolin and his wife Kathryn renewed their wedding vows at a Las Vegas chapel over the weekend, marking the milestone with a joint social media post shared Saturday.
Photos from the ceremony show Brolin in a black long-sleeved shirt left open, paired with jeans and a ball cap, exchanging vows with Kathryn as an Elvis Presley impersonator looked on. Kathryn wore a white minidress with a sheer overlay. The couple’s two daughters, Westlyn, 8, and Chapel, 5, appeared in photos outside the venue with their faces covered by heart emojis.
Other images from the day showed the pair kissing at the altar and posing for a casual selfie, along with members of their inner circle who joined the celebration.
“Vegas, Vows and Metallicaaaaa baby,” Brolin captioned the post, a nod to Metallica’s ongoing residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas, where acts including Celine Dion have performed alongside the band’s music.
A representative for Brolin did not immediately respond to a request for comment, according to Page Six, which first reported the vow renewal.
The gesture comes roughly six weeks after the couple marked their actual 10th wedding anniversary on Sept. 24. The pair wed on 9/24/16, a date Kathryn referenced in her own anniversary tribute posted to Instagram on Sept. 25.
“10 Years of Us. Four kids between us, one scrappy dog, three major moves, travel all over, and more love than I could’ve imagined for one lifetime,” Kathryn, 39, wrote at the time, referring to Josh’s two adult children from a previous marriage to Alice Brolin — son Trevor, 38, and daughter Eden, 32 — along with the couple’s two younger daughters.
Josh posted his own tribute the same day, writing that his wife has been his “romping partner — till death do us part.”
In an October interview with the Telegraph, Brolin, 58, said his marriage “just gets better after 10 years, and my family is everything to me.”
