Hallmark’s holiday mystery series “Mistletoe Murders” begins its third season Thursday, November 5, at 8 p.m. ET on the Hallmark Channel, with new episodes airing weekly through December 10.
The show, based on Ken Cuperus’ Audible Original, stars Sarah Drew as Emily Lane, owner of a Christmas-themed gift shop called Under the Mistletoe in the fictional small town of Fletcher’s Grove, New York. Emily presents herself as friendly and approachable, but she is hiding a mysterious past. When a string of local murders draws out her sleuthing instincts, that hidden history threatens to resurface.
Peter Mooney plays Detective Sam Wilner, a local police officer who becomes increasingly curious about Emily’s secrets as the two investigate together and develop a romantic connection complicated by what she has yet to reveal.
This season brings a new addition to the cast: Catherine Bell, known to fans of “Good Witch,” will guest-star in the first two episodes as the wife of a Christmas chairman. Showrunner Ken Cuperus has indicated her character may be hiding secrets of her own.
Where to Watch
New episodes of Season 3 will air on Hallmark Channel on Thursday nights starting November 5, with episodes also available the following day on the Hallmark+ streaming service.
Viewers without cable can watch Hallmark Channel live through a streaming service such as DIRECTV, which offers a five-day free trial and plans starting at $49.99 a month. Hallmark+ is currently offering new subscribers who sign up through Prime Video two months of service for $1 a month.
Viewers catching up before the premiere can stream the first two seasons on both Netflix and Hallmark+.
No Netflix Date Yet for Season 3
The first two seasons of “Mistletoe Murders” became available on Netflix on November 1, after quickly growing into one of the streamer’s most popular shows. Netflix has not announced a release date for Season 3.
Based on the timing of the previous seasons, which arrived on Netflix roughly a year after their Hallmark debut in 2025, Season 3 could potentially reach the platform in time for the 2027 holiday season — though that has not been confirmed.
