The FBI agents are taking legal action against the Department of Justice from Trump’s administration, trying to stop them from finding out who worked on the investigations after the January 6 Capitol incident. Recently, Emil Bove, who is the acting Deputy Attorney General, asked for details about the thousands of FBI employees involved in these investigations. Bove mentioned that only those with corrupt intentions should be worried.
This request made quite a few FBI agents upset, leading them to sue Trump’s DOJ to keep their identities secret. Acting FBI Director Brian Driscoll reassured everyone that the DOJ is planning a review process to decide if further actions are needed. Driscoll also told NBC News that this request affects many employees nationwide who were involved in these investigative efforts.
On Tuesday, nine FBI employees filed a class-action lawsuit against the DOJ. The complaint accuses acting Attorney General James McHenry and other officials of retaliating against them. They worry that even if they aren’t fired, they might face demotion or be denied promotions.
This class-action lawsuit is set to represent at least 6,000 current and former FBI agents and employees. These individuals were involved in investigating crimes and abuses of power related to Donald Trump. Additionally, the FBI’s union and several anonymous agents have also filed separate legal actions requesting a temporary restraining order against the DOJ.
They claimed that about 6,000 FBI employees are at risk of being unlawfully fired. The agents are worried that the Trump administration might release their identities publicly, putting them and their families in danger. However, the administration hasn’t indicated any plans to do so.
One of the lawsuits suggested that actions against various FBI agents might soon be taken by the DOJ. They fear that by revealing their identities, the agents would face harassment and threats, violating their rights. Despite the lawsuits, the FBI has complied with the DOJ’s request for information about the agents involved in the January 6 investigations.
CNN reported that the information shared included employee ID numbers, job titles, and details about their roles, but not their names. Natalie Bara, the President of the FBI Agents Association, expressed concern over this situation. She emphasized that FBI agents are now being put on lists and risk having their careers jeopardized just for doing their jobs.
Bara warned that exposing FBI agents’ names could endanger them and their families. She also mentioned that such actions might create a chilling effect within law enforcement, weakening the Bureau’s efforts against criminal and national security threats. Bove later clarified the DOJ’s intentions in a follow-up letter.
He assured that no FBI employee who followed orders ethically regarding the January 6 investigations is at risk. Bove stated that only those with corrupt or partisan intentions should be concerned. The FBI and DOJ did not respond to requests for comment from the New York Post.

Myself I don’t know what they’re so afraid of, after all wasn’t it Wray and Pelosi that sent them there? And wasn’t it Wray that lied to Congress in the first hearing and said there was no FBI there? Then the second time he said he didn’t know how many were there. Wray needs to take a vacation to prison for about 15 years, or maybe 20 , that’s what Pelosi and her corrupted minions gave the one guy that wasn’t even at the Capitol. Oh right, it was because he just sent some Proud Boys their to stand up for their rights and a stolen election. ( Yes I do believe it was stolen, especially after seeing all the fraud Elon Musk is finding) And myself I rather belong to the Proud Boys than be a Democrat. Democrats have the same problem with the Proud Boys as they do with Republicans , Democrats hate anyone that loves their country and are willing to fight for it.
The only disturbances, insurrection and crimes committed at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C, on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021 were planned, staged and carried out by the seditious DNC/FBI/SS/ATF/DC Capitol Police/ANTIFA crisis actors.
…like FBI plant Ray Epps!
