Kash Patel, the former FBI Director, has sent hundreds of pages of declassified documents to Congress about the “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation. These documents relate to the false Trump-Russia collusion claims and come after an executive order from President Donald Trump. Almost 700 pages of these declassified records have been obtained by Just the News, labeled as the “Crossfire Hurricane Redacted Binder” from April 9, 2025.
This action by Trump and Patel follows a previous executive order by Trump in March. Trump’s earlier attempts to declassify these records during his first term were blocked by his own Justice Department in January 2021. The Biden administration’s DOJ and FBI, led by ex-Attorney General Merrick Garland and former FBI Director Christopher Wray, spent four years refusing to make these records public.
The FBI’s investigation into Trump in 2016 started with false claims of collusion between Trump and Russia. The “Crossfire Hurricane” was eventually revealed to be a “Deep State” operation by politicized agencies targeting Trump. Trump’s new executive order, titled “Immediate Declassification of Materials Related to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Crossfire Hurricane Investigation,” refers to his earlier thwarted order.
In Trump’s January 2021 order, he mentioned a binder of materials concerning the Crossfire Hurricane investigation. Trump stated the Justice Department had given these materials to the White House at his request on December 30, 2020. He declared, “I hereby declassify the remaining materials in the binder,” emphasizing his final decision under the declassification review.
The 2021 memo from Trump highlighted his determination to declassify as much as possible. However, the FBI claimed there were passages crucial to keep from public disclosure. Trump agreed to the FBI’s proposed redactions for continued classification while ordering the rest to be declassified.
Despite this, the Justice Department blocked Trump’s final declassification request after he left the White House. On January 20, 2021, Trump’s then-chief of staff Mark Meadows delivered a memo arguing the Justice Department “must” release the binder of declassified documents. This was following a Privacy Act review.
Despite the order from Trump and the last-minute memo from Meadows, the records were never released by Garland’s DOJ and Wray’s FBI. A two-year investigation by Justice Department special counsel Robert Mueller found no criminal Trump-Russia collusion. DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz also criticized the FBI’s investigation for its flaws.
Christopher Steele, a British ex-spy, was hired by Fusion GPS to create an anti-Trump dossier. Fusion GPS was hired by Clinton’s 2016 campaign through ex-Perkins Coie lawyer Marc Elias. The Steele dossier was completely debunked by a new Justice Department special counsel, John Durham.
Durham’s report concluded that neither U.S. law enforcement nor the Intelligence Community had any actual evidence of collusion at the start of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation. The special counsel added the FBI ignored the fact that investigators were unable to corroborate any substantive allegations in the Steele dossier. Despite this, some Democrats continued to spread the unverified claims in the media.
California Rep. Adam Schiff was eventually censured in 2023 for making false allegations based on the dossier. The Associated Press reported his censure by his House colleagues. The declassified documents obtained by Just the News include information about the FBI’s flawed surveillance of Trump campaign associate Carter Page.
The documents also contain internal FBI notes from 2016 about Steele’s debunked dossier, Steele’s payment requests, tasking orders for Stefan Halper, and notes from the FBI’s interview of Steele. Additionally, there are details about an unusual defensive briefing given to Hillary Clinton by the FBI. Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley and GOP Sen. Ron Johnson have long urged the DOJ and FBI to release all documents related to the Trump-Russia saga.
They called on Patel and Attorney General Pam Bondi to make these documents public earlier this year. House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan has also demanded answers on the debunked Russia collusion scandal. He asked Patel to release this concealed information earlier this year.
The newly released records obtained by Just the News could provide more insight into the matter. Republican lawmakers continue to push for transparency regarding the investigation. The hope is that these records illuminate the truth behind the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.

Conspiracy Sedition, Aiding and Abetting, Obstruction of Justice and Treason!!! Lock them all up!
Kash Patel, the former FBI Director??? …Wrong!!
Kash was replaced as ATF Director. Kash remains the FBI Director!
All these corrupt people need to be charged with Treason for what they did to Trump every single one of them. This is totally outrageous and unacceptable to think that our own government could be so devious and so much corruption in our country. These people need to be held accountable and put in prison for a lifetime sentence without possibility of parole. These needs to start immediately it’s been to long already arrest these people now.
Yes indeed and the Globalist Elite, Deep State and others in our government were arranging for the “One Party Cabal System” to make America a “totalitarian dictatorship,” no more US Constitution!
So many heads need to roll as the adage goes and as I believe more than likely there are, I hope that massive investigations are well underway to connect all of the dots to the top echelon Kingpins who orchestrated all of this, so they can be apprehended and tried for Treason then summarily executed! If that doesn’t happen then we all may as well pray for “Judgment Day” to come quickly because all hell will break loose sooner rather than later anyway!
Romans 8:28-29 “And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose. 29For those God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers.”
Soo? WTF are the RICO arrests?
