JD Vance criticized CNN for allowing anchor Brianna Keilar to attack his military service while defending Tim Walz’s false claims of being a combat veteran.
At least five videos have emerged showing Walz making these false claims in the last two days, right after he was introduced as Kamala Harris’ running mate.
“We can make sure those weapons of war, that I carried in war, are only carried in war,” Tim Walz previously said.
Walz never deployed.

Walz chose not to deploy with his battalion to Iraq, opting instead to run for Congress. JD Vance enlisted in the US Marines and completed a four-year service, which included a six-month deployment to Iraq.
Brianna Keilar criticized Vance for not having seen combat during his time in Iraq. Despite this, Vance served honorably and never misrepresented his military service.

AND F— Walz, of course as the origin of this controversy, for shirking his enlistment, his corps, his integrity.
Walz never even went, quit the military as soon as he found out he was about to be deployed. And Beau Biden wasn’t in combat, either, he was a JAG officer, a lawyer. So if they want to say Vance isn’t worthy because of his military job, then neither was the President’s son, and we all know how much they love to bring him into the conversation to pump Joe up.
