Kim Kardashian gave Formula 1 broadcaster Martin Brundle the interview he had been chasing since June, ending a months-long snub that began at the Monaco Grand Prix.
At that race, Brundle approached Kardashian during his traditional grid walk and was ignored by Lewis Hamilton’s girlfriend. On Sunday at the Singapore Grand Prix, the two crossed paths again. Kardashian turned her head to the side as Brundle approached, then offered what came across as an apologetic, tongue-in-cheek greeting.
“Did I not know the rules? Did we get off on the wrong foot?” Kardashian said when Brundle asked how she was doing.
Brundle told her it was “absolutely fine” and moved on to the questions he had wanted to ask since Monaco, starting with her impressions of Formula 1 itself.
“I think it’s amazing and fun and wild, and something I’ve never seen before,” Kardashian said. “It’s amazing.”
Brundle also asked about Hamilton’s form heading into the Singapore race and whether he felt confident beforehand.
“He is [in great form]. I’m just praying for the best tonight,” Kardashian said. “Yes, very confident, and so am I. Just got to pray for the best.”
Kardashian did not address a separate incident from Monaco, where she was seen taking driver Kimi Antonelli’s post-race towel.
Max Verstappen won Sunday’s race in Singapore. Hamilton finished sixth.
