California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) signed ten new gun control bills into law on Saturday, expanding the state’s already extensive firearms regulations. The package includes a first-in-the-nation measure targeting 3D-printed firearms as well as new training mandates for gun buyers.
The most novel of the new laws, the Firearm Printing Prevention Act (AB 2047), requires consumer 3D printers sold in California to include technology that detects and blocks attempts to print firearms and illegal firearm parts. The bill is aimed at what lawmakers call “ghost guns” — untraceable weapons assembled outside the traditional retail system. Everytown for Gun Safety, the gun-control group backed by Michael Bloomberg, praised the signing and called AB 2047 “groundbreaking legislation.”
Senate Bill 948 significantly expands the state’s Firearm Safety Certificate requirements. Starting in 2029, prospective gun owners will need to complete a minimum four-hour training course that includes live-fire exercises and classroom instruction set by the state, according to the NRA-ILA.
Assembly Bill 1743 broadens the state’s firearm data-sharing system, increasing access to records kept in California’s Automated Firearms System and related databases. Senate Bill 1220 adds a new firearm-prohibiting misdemeanor to the list of offenses that trigger a 10-year ban on gun possession.
Newsom Touts Rankings, Critics Point to FBI Data
In a press release announcing the signings, Newsom’s office described California as the “No. 1 state in the nation for gun law strength and effectiveness.” The release did not address FBI data showing California also ranked No. 1 in the country for active shooter incidents in both 2021 and 2023.
The ten bills add to a long list of firearms restrictions California has enacted in recent years, reinforcing its position as the state with the most extensive gun-control regime in the country.

Since this has has been declared unconstitutional by the US Supreme Court, lets see if anything is actually done about it! State law makers have to swear to uphold not only their state constitution but also the US constitution. Blue states always seem to find a way to ignore federal law when ever it pleases them. One wonders, if Red states started doing the same same with demoncraps in power what would happen? All this does is create confusion among the Citizens. Which is exactly what Satan and his minions want! I am afraid that trying to enforce these draconian laws will cause an armed rebellion among actual CITIZENS against this unconstitutional dictate. Which again is what Satan and his minions want.
Numbers vary but it seems about 1/3 support the US Constitution, 1/3 want to destroy it, and 1/3 are waiting to see who is coming out on top. For a nation of about 350 million this works out to 116 million per side. A defection of that number will create a impossible situation that will completely destroy this country’s unity and leave us open to invasion by the world. Don’t try to convince me that of the world doesn’t want us to fall so they can improve their standing, especially the Muslim countries whose religious belief is that they are supposed to rule every where in the end.
Schools, government (at all levels) and many churches have spent the last 50+ years indoctrinating our up coming youth that the Medieval idea of rulers and peasants is the correct order of things world wide. If we do not want our descendants living this nightmare we as VOTING CITIZENS need to vote for true leaders that follow the US Constitution and bring this country back to it’s CHRISTIAN ROOTS and raise our children correctly. Otherwise, grab your hoe, plant you tattered hat on your head, tie up your ragged pants, bow to every government/communist/socialist/etc officer/sheriff/whatever that rides by saying yes master and die in your 30’s or 40’s a slave/serf/peasant to the government! It is your choice!
