Tensions escalated between rival groups of migrants at the Randall’s Island shelter on Friday night, resulting in a brawl following a previous stabbing incident, according to police and sources.
Around 8 p.m., a dispute erupted between approximately six migrants from Africa and South America at the large tent city in Manhattan, which has a history of disorderly conduct, as reported by sources.
The altercation ensued after a 25-year-old African migrant was stabbed in the left shoulder by a member of the opposing group, according to the NYPD and sources.
The man was taken to Harlem Hospital in stable condition, cops said.
Following the attack, a “large, unruly crowd” engaged in a fight, prompting additional police officers to rush to the temporary shelter, as reported by the police.
Siblings Josue and Moises Delon, aged 19 and 27, were taken into custody for their involvement in the stabbing and charged with assault by the NYPD.
Additionally, an 18-year-old was apprehended for participating in the altercation and was issued a citation for disorderly conduct before being released.
According to sources, the altercation on Friday stemmed from long-standing tensions between the two groups.
The Randall’s Island shelter, established last August to alleviate the city’s migrant crisis, has been no stranger to late-night disturbances.
In April, five men were arrested for assault after a violent altercation resulted in one asylum seeker being stabbed and four security guards sustaining injuries while attempting to intervene.

In that very month, a migrant brutally assaulted and sank his teeth into a security guard who intervened to defuse a confrontation between the man and his wife.
In addition, there was a deadly stabbing at the location in January when one migrant attacked another asylum-seeker who had been conversing with his girlfriend.

Immediate deportation back to their nation from which they came.
Why aren’t they being deported? That makes the present dictatorship responsible for all migrant murders and they need to be tried for treason against the American people since that is exactly what it is.
